When you visit our Lakeland chiropractic clinic for the first time, you'll be asked to fill out some brief paperwork. This information gives us general knowledge about you and your health. Once completed, the doctor will meet with you to discuss your health-related concerns and potential treatment options. The doctor will talk about the necessary steps to get well in order to treat your condition, the doctor will ask you about your symptoms and may recommend a series of specific tests to better treat your condition. We may take x-rays to assist us in diagnosing your condition and developing a personalized treatment plan for you.

Once the initial consultation at our Lakeland chiropractic clinic is complete, we typically begin your treatment during the same visit. This may include spinal adjustments, physical therapies, and/or soft tissue therapies. You will be given instructions on certain activities or procedures to take home and help you after the visit. This may include ice or heat application instructions; avoidance of certain activities or positions, as well as home exercises and/or stretches.

Follow up appointments will be made before you leave the office. Patients are typically seen within 1-2 days after their initial appointment and you will be given a complete review of findings. Your doctor would be happy to answer any questions you have about your condition or your recommended treatment plan.
